A little about Kendagasthenna Tea factory
This 1361 acre estate is situated high above the town of Palmadulla and was once a tea plantation that was under the British Empire. This renowned and profitable estate is also known for its beauty and serenity. Home to Sri Lanka’s 7th largest waterfall Kiridi Ella, the breathtaking sight adds to the splendour and charm of this beautiful estate.
The estate also has a natural water reservoir which generates over 75% of the energy requirements of the factory. The “Kuttapitiya” and “Kuttapitiya Super” garden marks are well recognized in the tea trade and has fared exceptionally well in the weekly tea auctions.
